Road Permits are arranged by Portland Stone Ltd. They last for 14 days and can be renewed if needed longer.
The cost is £36.75 for 14 days.
Any council property for example a verge, pavement or highway a permit is needed. A Road Permit is NOT needed if the road is unadopted.
We will supply all lights/cones/batteries and these are included in the price of your skip.With Weymouth & Portland Borough Council we can arrange a same day permit.
West Dorset District Council for the likes of Chickerell and Dorchester, 48 hours notice will be needed for a permit to be obtained.
